It's a run of a different color as runners warm up with music and fun at a 'colorizing' session where participants can apply color to themselves (or their neighbor) followed by a 5k starting and ending at Riverside High School.
Please join us for this second annual event. We are offering both a 5K and a 1 mile fun run/walk.
8:00 AM - Race Packet PickUp/Registration Begins - Proceed through main entrance towards cafeteria upon arrival.
PRE-REGISTRATIONS: Tables are to the right side in front of the cafeteria for those who pre-registered for packet/t-shirt* pickup. Look for the alphabetical letter associated with your last name. Pin your number to the front of your shirt.
ON-SITE REGISTRATIONS: Tables are to the left of the cafeteria for those who need to register on site. Pin your number to the front of your shirt once you are all set.
NOTE: T-shirts are available while supplies last. Please bring a t-shirt of your own to "color" as a back-up!
8:35 AM - Begin moving to the front of the school for the "coloring" process to begin! Each registrant may pick two (2) colors from the Dixie cups provided by our volunteers.
8:45 AM - The color process begins! Toss your powdered color on your friends in the field just in front of the start line!
9:00 AM - 5K Start
9:05 AM - Fun Run 1 Miler start
An announcement will be made upon the return of all runners to the building to proceed to the cafeteria for our awards ceremony.
